My Story: Why I'm a Real Estate Agent
There I was, just 16 years old, with nothing but two suitcases of belongings, moving from Guam to California for the first time. I was chasing a dream, a vision of what life could be, 6,000 miles away from the family and friends I love. The transition was daunting, filled with the weight of new challenges, unfamiliar faces, and the constant feeling of being out of place. The years went by, and the culture shocks and adjustments took their toll, leaving me unsettled and searching for something that felt like home. But in 2022, I made my way back to California. It was here, in the South Bay region of the Bay Area, that I found what I had been searching for my whole adult life.
As I reflect on my journey, I realize why I found my way into real estate. It’s not just about houses or properties, it’s about helping others find that same sense of peace, that feeling of belonging. I’ve lived through periods of uncertainty, the challenge of seeking a place that feels like home, and now I can be the person who helps others find theirs.
Real estate, for me, is more than a career. It’s about being a guide in one of life’s most significant journeys, it’s about finding a space where memories are made, milestones are celebrated, and hearts can finally settle. I’ve found my purpose in helping others build their dreams, a place where they can live fully and be themselves.
I am so grateful to every client who has trusted me to be part of their journey. The privilege of guiding them toward their new beginning is something I never take for granted. Choosing where to live is one of the most important life decisions we make, and I feel so fortunate to be a part of that.
